Our Location

Tapanui is situated in the West of the province of Otago, between the Blue Mountains to the east and the Pomahaka River to the west. It enjoys a mild climate and, bordering on the Central Otago region, it escapes much of the coastal cloud. The region is a rich farming area and also has a long tradition of timber milling. The area is also renowned for it's outdoor sporting activities such as fishing in the local world class rivers and hunting in the many surrounding forests.
